Taken from the Mountain Brook Preserve observation platform perhaps? I was there last week and saw the Joe pye weed. Also saw a blue Jeep Cherokee parked there. Was that you?

Oops! I just saw that you shot it at McLean's.

This one was in the field by the eastern entrance to McLean off Rte 10. I have been visiting Montain Brook fairly often as well, though, but I drive a Prius instead of a Cherokee.

Showing much of the Joe Pye Weed helps to place the creature in its envionment well.

to complete the thought I inadvertantly cut off, I tied closer crops on the shot, but felt the surrounding flowers added more than greater detail on the grasshopper in this case. It's nice to hear that you agree.
